Exhibition Displays
If your company is planning on having a few exhibition displays at a local exhibition or fair, there are a few points to take into consideration to ensure that your booth gets many potential clients visiting it, and purchasing the product on sale or signing up for the service on offer. You need to remember that this is in fact a very good opportunity to market your company or product directly to your target market, and so you need to make the most of this chance. For this reason your display needs to make a good impression in a flash and attract consumers to it, so that the sales person within the booth, who is a representative of your company can make the sale by explaining, and perhaps even demonstrating the unique benefits and unbelievable features of your product and why the absolutely need to own one of them!
Your exhibition displays need to grab your target audiences attention immediately, and so there needs to be something different and unique about the way your display has been designed – whether it has bright colors, music playing or somebody handing out free things, you need to get those potential clients in the booth, and not just have them glance over and walk by to another display. You need to make sure that your booth is not cluttered and overcrowded in any way, as there’s nothing that people dislike more than being squashed, and chances are that if they see a booth that is small a squashy, they will not enter it. Another great tip is to not have a table between you and your potential customers, rather have one large area, where you can interact on an intimate level and simply explain the features of your product to these people while standing alongside them within your exhibition displays.
Another great idea to ensure that your exhibition displays are well received is to hand out promotional products, as everybody loves anything that is for free, and this is also an extremely effective marketing tool because the potential client will have to enter your booth to receive the freebie, and thus get a chance to speak to you or the sales person about the uniqueness of this product. They will keep this sales pitch in their minds, when they go home and try the product out within the comfort of their own house and then return to the exhibition to purchase the product the next day, or else they will get it at the retail store that you would have told them about in your sales pitch! Make sure that the lighting in you booth is bright, so that your product on sale can be easily seen, and also enhance this with a warm feel, perhaps place a carpet on the floor, so that your exhibition displays look warm and inviting, and will therefore attract more potential clients and thus give you the opportunity to make more sales. |
